I am coming to St.Lucia and need an airport transfer, how do I make a booking?

What information do I need to give in order to make my airport transfer arrangements?

Flight details are very important:  Date of arrival, airline, flight number, approximate arrival time and what hotel you are staying at.

Where do I meet my taxi driver once I clear customs and immigration?

Your driver will be waiting for you on the outside area with a name placard.

Does GoVisitStLucia Tours have a cancellation policy?

Cancellation of airport transfers within 24 hours of pickup are non-refundable.  If cancelled outside of 24 hours, the transfer fee is fully refundable back to the credit card you used.

What should I do if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

If your flight is delayed or cancelled, please notify GoVisitStLucia immediately for rescheduling.

Please note that if GoVisitStLucia is not notified of flight delays or cancellations, the cost of the airport transfer will be forfeited.

What should I do if I miss my flight?

If you miss your flight, there will be a rescheduling fee of $30 USD.  Please notify GoVisitStLucia immediately for rescheduling.

How long is the drive from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) to Castries and Gros Islet?

The drive from Hewanorra is a scenic route that takes approximately 1 hour into Castries and 1 hour 15 minutes to Gros Islet.

Will the driver stop along the way?

The driver is your first local tour guide and will be pointing out picturesque locations along your drive into town.  Stopping for photo opportunities will be your choice.

How long is the drive from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) to Soufriere?

From Hewanorra to Soufriere is approximately 30 minutes.

How long is the drive from George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) to Castries or Gros Islet?

Castries town is a short 5 minute drive.  And it’s only 20 minutes to Gros Islet.

Are the vehicles that provide the taxi service insured?

Your safety is our number one priority therefore we only employ drivers that are fully insured.  GoVisitStLucia take the necessary measures to conduct audits of coverage periodically.  All transfer vehicles are safe, comfortable and road worthy.

Is tipping permitted?

Tips are welcomed and appreciated. The rate of tipping is purely at your discretion.

Does GoVisitStLucia provide other taxi services apart from airport transfers?

Yes, we provide normal taxi services from your hotel or any point of origin to your desired destination on island. We can be your personal chauffeur throughout the length of your St. Lucia vacation.

Is there anything else to consider?

Due to the terrain of the island if you are phoned to motion sickness it is recommended that you bring medication such as Dramamine or Gravol to combat the effects.
